A thermocouple is a circuit that consists of
two different wires or alloys, welded in their ends, and an
electromotive force (E.M.F.) appears between them due to the
effect of temperature.
A thermocouple allows knowing the temperature
in its union T1 by connecting it to a measure instrument.
Thermocouples are used as probes in control
or regulation measures of temperature in materials put under
heat treatements.
